1911 January 28th---Department of Agriculture Responds to Miss White’s letter offering White’s Bog for Blueberry Culture Research
William Alton Taylor, Acting Chief of the Bureau of Plant Industry "wrote that the department would probably accept the offer of co-operation which had been turned over to the author of Bulletin 193."

"On February 4th, Frederick V. Coville wrote saying that he would like to visit Whitesbog to look into the possibilities. The visit was made on March 1st, 1911." Miss White also wrote that Coville visited Whitesbog and New Lisbon at that time.
